Spring is here! Oh, we had so much fun learning about flowers this past month. We learned to identify many different flowers, what flowers need to grow, where flowers grow, and parts to a flower. Yes, your children are singing a couple new songs, as we wrote them to learn the parts of a flower. We also began working on vowel sounds and wrote a song for it as well! We didn’t get to wind this past month because the children were really enjoying the subject on flowers, so we decided to do our kite flying this month.
For the month of May our focus will be on wind. We will discuss where wind comes from and things in our world that use wind. We will talk about Benjamin Franklin and his discovery of electricity and how wind is used to make electricity. We will also dedicate a week to Mothers, as Mother’s Day approaches. Don’t forget we will be closed May 28th for Memorial Day!
