Description of Preschool Program

We are a Keystone Star 4 center (4 out of 4 stars)!  We have developed a preschool program for those who would like their child in a preschool program a few days a week for only a couple of hours.  Please see the Partial Preschool Program Schedule for the details about the day.  The students will be taught a letter each week.  With the letter they will learn the capital and lowercase of each.  While learning their letters, they will also learn about a state that begins with that letter.  The students will be shown the state and where it is located in relation to where we live.  Every two weeks the theme will change.  The centers that are set up in the preschool room will be based on the theme and letter of the week.  Each month you will receive a calendar and newsletter to let you know exactly what your child is learning.

10:05-11:05 Free Play/Center Time (Arts/Crafts, Dramatic Play, Blocks, Music, books, listening center, Computer, Manipulatives)-Centers are based on theme and letter of the week

11:05-11:15 Music & Movement

11:15-11:30 Goodbye Circle

11:30-12:00 Dismissal & Outside or Indoor Large Motor Skill Activities
